Hello and welcome to Calgary Football.com. Another season is over and the Stampeders had a decent season. Even though they finished last in the West there were some bright spots on this team.

WEST NOMINEES

Defensive Tackle Joe Fleming, Wide Reciever Darnell McDonald and returner Wane McGarity were named to the West Division team.

Fleming finished the season 2nd in the league recording 11 quarterback sacks also recording 33 defensive tackles.

Darnell McDonald registered his first ever 1000 yard receiving season in the CFL finishing with 67 catches for 1002 yards and Wane McGarity ended the season 3rd in league recording 663 yards on 52 punt returns. He also returned 16 kick-offs for 399 yards.
